Three Strikers Arsenal Are Looking To Sign To Replace Aubameyang
With Aubameyang’s status still unclear at the club, Arsenal are in a dire need of a striker this winter. With the January transfer window now open, Mikel Arteta and his team have a number of options to look at. To replace the Gabon international, Aybameyang this month. The other two strikers at the club, Nketiah and Lacazette are on their way out as well this summer as their contracts expire this summer. With all this drama surrounding the club, we look at the three strikers Arsenal are looking to sign to replace Aubameyang.

Ligue 1’s top scorer this season, Jonathan David has set the league on fire with the Canadian scoring 12 goals in just 15 starts for Lille. What makes Jonathan David a very likable target for this Arsenal side is his ability to press with mobility, his work rate off the ball which is certainly a very key characteristic in modern-day football. Quite like Lacazette, David can also drop deep to defend or create chances rather than just waiting for the ball at his feet.
And while he is just 21, he is already a proven star for both club and country. For the past 2 seasons, David has been phenomenal for Lille and for Canada. He has been the top CONCACAF scorer in World Cup Qualifying.
#2 Alexander Isak
Arteta on if he is interested in signing Alexander Isak: "You know that I can never speak about players that aren’t ours. There is a lot of speculation with many names & I’m not here to go through that, unfortunately" #Arsenal pic.twitter.com/v9zpkzrq0l

Alexander Isak is a player who has been on Arsenal’s radar for quite some time now. Following his fantastic performances in the Euros, Isak caught the eyes of many people, including Mikel Arteta as the Spaniard looks to strengthen his side by acquiring the services of a top striker this winter. The Swedish goal machine had a brilliant season with Real Sociedad last year as he found the back of the net 17 times in 30 games, quite impressive for someone who just turned 22.
The problem Arsenal and Arteta will have with Isak is that he recently signed a contract with Sociedad which ties him to the club until 2026, with a reported release clause of 75m euros. Will Arsenal go big and make a marquee signing in Alexander Isak? Only time will tell as we look at the three strikers Arsenal are looking to sign to replace Aubameyang.
#1 Dusan Vlahovic
Arsenal are actively trying to sign Dusan Vlahovic, as per @TheAthleticUK.

Undoubtedly the most popular player in the transfer window right now is Dusan Vlahovic. 18 G/A in 18 games this season for Fiorentina is what makes Vlahovic the most wanted player. Hailing from Serbia, the 21-year-old has had some world-class outings which make him a very special player.
With a number of clubs interested in the goal machine, it will certainly not be easy for Arsenal. Difficult for Arsenal to acquire the services of Vlahovic but he is reportedly the top target for Arteta this winter.
