Real Madrid News Transfer: Aurelien Tchouameni has struck a deal with Real Madrid that would see him move to the Spanish capital very soon. Real Madrid snatched yet another gem from the French league and is ready to unleash him.

Casemiro, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos were Madrid’s best-ever midfield pairing to date. They provided five Champions League to the club and numerous other trophies.

But now La Liga is set to witness a new pairing of Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni. The three powerful midfielders are ready to learn from the best players in the squad.

Camavinga was signed last year and Madrid repeated a similar strategy this time. They had an agreement with AS Monaco that they are ready to offer £80m for the star player.

Carlo Ancelotti wanted to build a new midfield trio and he has got his target. Madrid had convinced Tchouameni that he is an important part of their project.

1. Tchouameni rejected official proposals from Liverpool and PSG

The AS Monaco midfielder was pretty clear that he just had Real Madrid in his mind. Liverpool and PSG were also looking to lure him but had a tough time convincing him to join them.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had several conversations with Tchouameni but he straight away rejected a proposal. PSG was ready to offer him much more money and high wages, but he only wanted to join his dream club.

Tchouameni knew that Real Madrid will increase the pace of the negotiations after the UCL final. In fact, Tchouameni had made this decision even before Real Madrid played against Liverpool in the finals.

Madrid matched Monaco’s asking price and the player was theirs.

Aurelien Tchouameni will bring life to the center of the midfield. He is known to play in a similar position as Casemiro and his defensive skills are up to point. He is also known for moving up the field and providing crunch passes to the final third.

3. Aurelien Tchouameni’s story at AS Monaco resembles that of Kylian Mbappe

Mbappe had made over 60 appearances for AS Monaco from 2015 to 2017. Tchouameni also played for two seasons and has made up to 95 appearances for the French club.

However, Kylian Mbappe’s 2016/17 season was a reason behind his rise to stardom. He scored a lot of goals in the Ligue one and broke records in the Champions League at such an early age.
