‘It’s Time’-Piers Morgan Has Come Up With A Message For Cristiano Ronaldo For A Move To Arsenal

Cristiano Ronaldo told Manchester United that he wanted to leave this summer, so Piers Morgan is trying to get him to play for Arsenal.

The Times said on Saturday that Ronaldo had asked United to let him leave if they got a “satisfactory offer” in the summer transfer window.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner came back to Old Trafford last summer and scored 24 goals in 38 games across all competitions.

But it was a disappointing season for the Red Devils, who got their fewest points ever in the Premier League and ended with a goal difference of zero.

Ronaldo, who is now 37, wants to spend the last few years of his career playing in the Champions League and breaking more records in a competition where he is already the all-time top scorer.

But Morgan is doing everything he can to get Ronaldo to move to Arsenal, which will also be in the Europa League next season because they finished one spot above Real Madrid.

The 57-year-old TV host is a big fan of both the Gunners and Ronaldo. He sat down with Ronaldo for a long ITV interview.

What did Piers Morgan say about Cristiano Ronaldo?

Morgan quickly tweeted a picture of him giving Ronaldo an Arsenal shirt with the words “It’s time @Cristiano #afc” next to it when he heard that Ronaldo wanted to leave United.

A fan thought Morgan’s answer was very vague and told him, “In your dreams.”

Morgan replied and said in a quote-tweet that he had been trying to get Ronaldo to switch to the Emirates.

He wrote, “Yes, but Cristiano likes to try new things in football, and I just told him that putting God and Jesus up front is an irresistible chance.”

Gabriel Jesus will be the new No. 9 for Arsenal. The club is about to confirm a £45 million deal for the Brazilian striker.

Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s super-agent, is said to have talked with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly about a possible transfer last month.

The two met up in Portugal, and one of the things they talked about was Ronaldo’s availability.

Mendes is also said to have tried to sell his star client to Bayern Munich, but the club turned him down because they didn’t have enough money.

It’s not the first time Morgan has tried to get Ronaldo to come to North London. In December, the former Real Madrid star trolled the TV personality over text after scoring two goals against Arsenal.

Morgan says that after the 3-2 win, Ronaldo said “Sorry” and an emoji of a laughing face.
