Bayern Munich Inform Barcelona Regarding The Transfer Price They Want For Robert Lewandowski

According to a report from SportBILD, Barcelona has presented a fresh offer for the superstar player Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich. This offer is reportedly worth around €35 million. However, given that the Bavarian giants see the offer as being well below market value, it is quite doubtful that they would accept it.

According to the source, the German champions would want an amount of at least €50 million for their striker, who is 33 years old.

Lewandowski is about to enter the last year of his contract with Bayern Munich. He has made it very obvious that he wants to move on to a club that would provide him with a different kind of challenge in his professional career. Barcelona is his preferred destination, and the Catalans are also quite interested in signing the Poland captain to a contract with them.

Will Barcelona agree to the demands of Bayern Munich for Robert Lewandowski?

Because of this, the Blaugrana and Lewandowski have already reached an agreement about the personal parameters of a three-year contract. However, Bayern Munich has been unwilling to do business and continues to insist that their leading striker will remain at the club and see out the remaining years of his contract, which is set to end in 2023.

Although Barcelona had previously presented Bayern with an initial proposal of around 32,5 million euros plus add-ons, Bayern did not reply in any way to the offer.

Hasan Salihamidzic, the director of the German club, said not too long ago that he “does not care” if Barcelona comes back with a better offer or not.
Even if the Blaugrana have certainly come back with a slightly larger proposal of €35 million, the club from Allianz Arena would probably continue to ignore their offer. It is said that Bayern Munich wants a one-time payment of €50 million for Robert Lewandowski.

It is now up in the air whether or not the giants from La Liga will come back with a better offer for Lewandowski, who has been identified as their key target for the summer transfer window.
