Another fantastic outing from the ‘Starboy’ as he quite literally towed with the Leeds defence with players dropping left and right as Saka dribbled past them. The England international found the back of the net after he squeezed a shot from a very tight angle which further strengthened Arsenal’s position in the game.
#3 Martin Odegaard

While he did get just one assist in the four goals that were scored, Martin Odegaard was heavily involved in every aspect of the game. The Norway international also created the most number of the chances (6) as he continues his great run of form, which is certainly reflecting on the club’s performances in the recent matches as well.
#2 Alexandre Lacazette

Even though Lacazette failed to find the back of the net after having several shots on target, the French number 9 managed to get an assist but was much more involved than that. Be it tracking the ball down in his own half or sprinting to the opposition’s box, it was a total captain’s performance from Alexandre Lacazette as we look at the four candidates for Man Of The Match for Arsenal Against Leeds United.
#1 Gabriel Martinelli
Out of Arsenal’s 27 league goals this season, 23 have been assisted or scored by Emile Smith-Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard.

Christmas came early for Gabriel Martinelli as he whooped his first brace for the Gunners. He helped Arsenal win yet another game. With this brace, Martinelli now has a G/A of 5 in just 4 matches. Martinelli proving exactly why he is one of the most promising players in the league right now.
