Arsenal has had a change of regime in the recent seasons, with Mikel Arteta taking the manager’s job. The whole setup was changing in and around Arteta at the Emirates. This meant that some players have been sent away on loan or sold, for a proper culture at the club. With that being said, a couple of them met recently in the two-legged semis of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Feyenoord played Marseille in the semi-finals of the UECL, with the former going through to the final. It was a game that ended 2-3 on aggregate in favour of the Dutch side. With that being said, Reiss Nelson and Matteo Guendouzi faced off against each other as rivals. The second leg of the match ended goalless, with the visitors going through on the night.

Nelson is on loan with Feyenoord, while Guendouzi is with Marseille. He is all set to make his move away from the Emirates permanent this summer. Not all fans want him gone but they can understand if he does, as there have been issues between him and manager Mikel Arteta. Further, Arsenal signed Lokonga to take his place.

Well, this moment would have brought some warmth to the hearts of Arsenal fans, who must be missing these young talents. Hopefully, they can impress and come back to the Emirates and make a name for themselves someday. Though that does not seem likely for the Frenchman, Nelson still has a better chance of doing that.

Let’s wait and watch whether he can go back to Arsenal and impress the Spanish boss, who is trying his best to make Arsenal competitive again. Only time will tell how things will develop in the days to come. For now, we wish Reiss Nelson the very best for the UECL final!!
