Arsenal secured yet another win over Watford in the Premier League on Sunday at the Emirates as they hosted the Hornets in the eleventh game of the season. Arsenal was coming off a strong massive victory over Leicester away from home last week, while Watford suffered another loss against Southampton. The Gunners were looking like favourites to win this game as they were full of confidence and were looking to continue their winning streak in this match as well, which they did as the unbeaten sequence continues.
From the very first minute to the end, Arsenal had complete control of the game and barely gave chances to their opponents to bag an equalizer. After a ruled-out goal and a missed penalty by Aubameyang, it was Emile-Smith Rowe once again who saved the day for his team as he finished off a fantastic move created by Ben White.
The duo of White and Gabriel proved to be the gamechanger for Arsenal yet again as both of them combined with a brilliant performance by Ramsdale at the back ensured the Gunners another clean sheet. On the other side, Ben Foster had a great outing for Watford as he denied Aubameyang’s penalty and also stopped many certain chances.
Arsenal fans on Twitter enjoyed the taste of victory once again as they go 10 matches unbeaten in all competitions this season. The fans are now starting to believe in Mikel Arteta’s process as the results are there to show. With this win, the Gunners go 5th in the table with the same number of points as West Ham United who are currently 4th due to their better goal difference.
