#5 Sergio Ramos

After failing to come to an agreement with Real Madrid, both parties mutually decided to part ways as his contract expired this summer. After 16 seasons and 678 appearances, Ramos left his beloved club for PSG this summer, leaving Madridistas heartbroken. A wall at the back, a threat in the aerial, fantastic at set-pieces and a leader on the pitch, Sergio Ramos was just the player PSG were looking for to replace their former captain, Thiago Silva, who left them last summer.

Ramos alongside marquinhos at the back for the French club can prove to be one of the best centre-back partnerships in Europe this season. PSG will be looking to finally attain European success with their new leader, Sergio Ramos.

 #4 Memphis Depay

The Dutch forward has been in world-class form for some time now, he was directly involved in over 30 goal contributions for Lyon last season in the Ligue 1. With Griezmann potentially leaving Barça this season to ease off their wage bill, Depay could be the perfect replacement for him. Time and time again, he has showed how versatile he is as he has played as a striker, a winger and even as an attacking midfielder.

Barça have got an absolute gem of a player who is in his prime and still, has many years left in him, the Catalonia based club acquired his services for free as his contract expired at Lyon. It will be interesting to see how he fits into Barca’s lineup with the likes of Lionel Messi, Pedri and their new signing, Aguero.

#3 Achraf Hakimi

Hakimi completed his move from Inter Milan to PSG after a month of negotiations between the two clubs, reports suggest that the right-back was pushing for a move for a long time. The Serie A champions received up to 70m euros for Achraf, who has now signed a 5-year deal with the French giants. Right-back is a position PSG were looking to strengthen for quite some time now, and they couldn’t have got a better player than Achraf.

Even though the right-back is just 22 years old, he has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the game. Arguably the best offensive right back in the world right now, was directly involved in 15 goal contributions for Inter Milan last season. A stat that is extraordinary for a right back. Achraf will play an integral part in PSG’s hunt for the UCL.

#2 Jadon Sancho

After scouting and enquiring about him for nearly 4 years now, Manchester United finally managed to land their superstar forward this transfer window.  The English superstar costed United 85m euros, making him the most expensive forward in the Premier League’s history. Jadon took no time to establish himself as a key player in Dortmund, scoring 50 goals in less than 150 matches.

Sancho has emerged as one of the world’s most interesting young prospects in recent years, and that is why it is easy to understand why United was so keen on getting him. All eyes will be on the Three Lions star as he will look to justify his price tag in the upcoming season.

#1 Gianluigi Donnarumma

Italy’s star goalkeeper, who played a massive role in their success in Euro 2020, signed a five-year contract with PSG on Wednesday. Paris Saint Germain have undoubtedly been the most active club this transfer window, ticking all their boxes when it comes to buying players. Donnarumma who was awarded the Player of the tournament in Euro 2020, also helped AC Milan finish second in Serie A, making Donnarumma the best in this list of top 5 transfers

His tenure at AC Milan saw him make over 200 league appearances just at the age of 22 while becoming the youngest ever goalkeeper to represent his country at the age of just 17. Donnarumma will be in competition with Keylor Navas at PSG for the goalkeeper’s jersey, safe to say PSG are serious UCL contenders this season.
