“They Are Aware Of What I Want”- Arsenal Target Comments On His Future Beyond The Summer Transfer Window
Targets for both Arsenal and Manchester United, Richarlison has dropped hints regarding his future at Everton by revealing that he has already told the club about his desire to leave. The Brazilian defender’s name is in connection with several teams, notably Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Everton was able to avoid the drop to the second tier of the Premier League thanks to the forward’s six goals scored in the club’s last ten matches of the season. Since his move to the club in 2018 from Watford for a rumored sum of £50 million, he has been an integral component of their starting eleven.
What did Richarlison say?
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Richarlison said that he has made his choice and has already notified the Toffees board and Frank Lampard. Richarlison was speaking to the media at the time. The player, who has Arsenal and Manchester United in his sights, said:
“I’ve already clarified everything for the board of directors. I have already had conversations with Frank Lampard and my representatives. They are aware of what it is that I am looking for. Let’s put off our plans until June. Now I can’t say because whenever we discuss leaving a club, I sort of feel this way. This is because of the history I have at Everton and the love that the supporters have for me. I can’t talk because of this. When we discuss going our separate ways, I find it difficult to find the words.”
Manchester United is in line for the Arsenal target
Richarlison, who now plays at Everton, is a player whom Manchester United has been instructed to acquire. Kleberson suggested to PaddyPower that the Brazilian would be an excellent fit for the team that he had previously played for.
He said: “Everton are in a very fortunate position to still have Richarlison playing for them. Everton has been in a battle to avoid relegation all season long. He is a crucial player for them. Imagine what it would be like to have Richarlison play for Manchester City, Manchester United, or Chelsea. He may challenge for the role of the leading scorer on those teams.
Even though he’s on a horrible team this season, he’s such a terrific player. He’s so dangerous when he’s in the attacking zones. Everton has been battling relegation from the beginning of the season. Everton will be pleased to have retained him until the end of this season. Although he possibly could have switched clubs a little sooner if he had wanted to. Everton will be glad to have had him until the end of this season. In the future, I want to see him playing for a good side in the Premier League.”
In the Premier League during the 2021-22 season, Richarlison dominated Everton’s offense while Dominic Calvert-Lewin was out with injury. He managed to score 10 goals. In the 30 matches that he participated in, the Brazilian was also credited with five assists.
As their respective contracts come to an end this summer, Alexandre Lacazette and Edinson Cavani are expected to depart the clubs that they currently play for. As a result, Arsenal and Manchester United are seeking to reinforce their attacks.
