‘I Hope The Fans Can See’- Antonio Rudiger Makes A Sad Statement On Eden Hazard Of Chelsea After Real Madrid Transfer
Real Madrid News: Center-back Antonio Rudiger admits that he feels pity for his former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard. The German defender signed for Real Madrid on a free transfer from Chelsea.
Antonio Rudier and Eden Hazard will now play together at their dream club Real Madrid. But both the players have been facing issues of their own.
Rudiger joined Chelsea from Roma way back in 2017 but failed to be a consistent player for the Blues. Hazard was already present at Chelsea at that time and he was busy building his legendary status.
In over 351 appearances, he had scored 110 goals and provided 92 assists, which are insane numbers. He lights up the league with his lightning speed and excellent dribbling skills.
Real Madrid soon came calling and he joined them in 2019 for a very high price. It was expected that he would continue his fine form in Spain but it has been the opposite case. Hazard failed to play consistently under Zinedine Zidane and was hardly featured in training due to injury setbacks.
Whereas, Antonio Rudiger rose to stardom over the past two years as he guided Thomas Tuchel’s side to numerous title victories. He had established himself as one of the best defenders in the league.
He is in his prime years and could form a solid defensive pairing with David Alaba and Eder Militao at the back-line. Rudiger wanted to join Real Madrid as it was his only choice. He wanted to sign a contract with Chelsea but their financial issues were the major stumbling block.

Antonio Rudiger feels pity for the way Eden Hazard’s time has been going at the Spanish capital. Although both the players loved playing together at Chelsea, Rudiger may find a completely different Hazard when he will play for Real Madrid.
