Old Trafford Witnessed History When Football’s G.O.A.T Was Cheered By NFL’s Greatest Quarterback

If Ronaldo gets labelled as one of the icons of football, Old Trafford had a different icon from another sport present in its hallowed congregation. It was none other than the NFL legend, Tom Brady. He was quite in a quandary about whom to side with as his favourite team, Manchester United was blazing the field with fire while one of his favourite strikers, Harry Kane was playing for Tottenham Hotspur.

The NFL icon was also live-tweeting from the stands as the electrifying thriller between United and Spurs shifted its momentum vehemently from one side to another in the flash of an eye. Brady has always been vocal about his love for Manchester United but has also found a penchant for English marksman, Harry Kane.

Here is what Tom Brady had to say about Cristiano Ronaldo

Kane found the back of the net from the dreaded spot as Alex Telles’ extended hand galvanized the referee in instantly pointing at the spot. Just in case you are oblivious, Tom Brady has always been a pro-Ronaldo fan, highly vocal about the insane workload that the Portuguese marksman carries along with himself.

His first tweet of the night cited, “Here we go! Cristiano vs. HKane. I might fist pump if you score Harry but I’m riding with ManUtd today.

His second tweet simply was a smiling video of the Portuguese great as there were joys all-around.

Cristiano Ronaldo broke quite a few records on the night as he managed to become the world’s highest goal-scorer with 807 goals, surpassing the likes of Josef Bican whose long-standing haul of 804 was toppled.

He also extended his lead at the top of the list of being the active scorer with the highest number of hattricks next to his name with 59 of them, 4 ahead of the closest contender, Lionel Messi.

Tom Brady, on the contrary, is American football’s greatest ever quarterback whose career spanned a staggering 22 seasons before he finally called it a day at the end of the preceding season. Like Ronaldo, Brady also holds all the records that a signal-caller can own up in the glittering antiquity of the gridiron.
