How Manchester City could lineup if Cristiano Ronaldo joins them
The football world has been shocked by another massive transfer rumor recently as the news of Cristiano Ronaldo joining Premier League giants, Manchester City has emerged. Reports coming from both Portugal and England have stated that Ronaldo’s agent offered Manchester City to sign the megastar, and the Blues took no time to pounce on this opportunity. Ronaldo left Real Madrid for a new challenge and joined Serie A giants, Juventus, who have won the league a record number of times. But knowing Ronaldo and his determination, he wanted to win everything with Juventus, he wanted to repeat what he did with all the clubs he has been at, which is winning every possible trophy. It was clear that Ronaldo joined Juventus to win the Champions League as well, but after 3 seasons, the Portuguese has failed to do so.
Earlier this season, there were a lot of speculations about Ronaldo joining Paris Saint-Germain, but all those speculations were ended after the French club completed the signing of Lionel Messi. From what was considered to be a strong relationship, things are not looking good for Ronaldo and Juventus. Cristiano was also benched for the very first game of the league this season and is not considered to be a key player in newly-hired manager, Allegri’s plans.
Which club can afford Cristiano Ronaldo?
While PSG have already signed a megastar, they cannot afford to sign another player with such wages, leaving Manchester City the only viable option which can sign Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment. While City already have a perfectly balanced squad, Ronaldo will be a confirmed starter for them and is rated highly by Pep as well. We look at how Manchester City can line up if Ronaldo joins them.

Pep will most certainly pull off a classic 4-3-3 with a side that is filled with so many superstars. A solid 4 at the back with Dias and Stones as CB’s, both of them were very consistent last together and will be hoping to replicate the same this season as well. New signing Grealish will start on the left-wing while KDB will feed the goals to both Ronaldo and Grealish. This Manchester City side is more than capable of winning every trophy that comes their way. Ronaldo to Manchester City? Watch this space.
