Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Arsenal career has been a roller coaster. The Gabonese international has netted 92 times for The Gunners in all competitions. Arsenal has stripped Aubameyang of the captain’s armband due to numerous ‘disciplinary breaches’. Arteta also said today that Aubameyang is not available for selection for Arsenal’s tie against Leeds tomorrow. This begs the question if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already played his last game for Arsenal?


Aubameyang’s Transfer Interest

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has attracted interest from FC Barcelona with the Spanish club looking to replace Sergio Aguero. Aubameyang has previously mentioned that he dreams of playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid. Arsenal will be looking to get a fee from Aubameyang’s transfer but it is unlikely that any club would be able to offer.


No Longer Training With Squad

Aubameyang is training alone away from the Arsenal squad as Mikel Arteta and Edu have banished Gabonese International from training with the squad. Aubameyang faces the uphill task of reviving his Arsenal career. Reports have been circulating that Aubameyang will continue to train alone until he returns from AFCON. Arsenal is open to offers for Aubameyang in January.

Aubameayng Arrived Early

Aubameyang pictured arriving at Arsenal training ground 90 minutes earlier than the squad. It’s the first time he was seen at the London Colney after being stripped of the captaincy. Aubameyang has not gone on strike or refused to train. The club decided it’s best if Aubameyang trains separately from the squad.

Aubameyang’s future under Mikel Arteta is looking bleak & a move away from the club in January is very likely. Aubameyang will have a lot of suitors with Barcelona, Juventus & Inter Milan lurking but it remains to be seen if they agree to pay a fee for him. Arsenal will also be looking to bring a replacement before sanctioning the deal for Aubameyang.
