This means that they will be available to negotiate with other clubs in the ongoing January transfer window. Which will allow them to leave on a free in the summer transfer window, until and unless their current club is able to strike a new deal with them. Alexandre Lacazette’s time at Arsenal could be over this summer with the Frenchman’s contract coming to an end in June. Lacazette signed under Arsene Wenger and has been at the club since 2017. The number 9 came to London with huge expectations after he tore the Ligue 1 apart with Lyon.
His future at the club remains unclear with several reports suggesting that he has rejected a renewal contract from Arsenal. When asked about his situation, gaffer Mikel Arteta replied that he doesn’t want to talk about Lacazette’s contract situation until the end of this season and that he is happy with the player’s current form.
#4 Ousmane Dembele
Another player who has failed to live up to the expectations and his price tag is Ousmane Dembele. The forward was signed from Dortmund in 2017 for a staggering price tag of 110m euros. Injuries certainly ruined his career at Barca which will now reportedly lead to him being sold this winter, this comes in regard to his contract expiring in the summer.
With Barca looking at a number of alternatives to replace the French international, Dembele might be on his way out as soon as this January.

Paul Pogba currently has a deal with Manchester United until 2022 summer after agreeing to a one-year extension which he signed last year. The midfielder’s transfer in 2016 made him the most expensive player in the world at that time. To say the least, it has been a roller coaster of a ride for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.
Injuries and Inconsistent form have been the major reasons for the downfall of Pogba at the club. In a recent interview, he even admitted that it might be time for a new challenge somewhere else.
