Arsenal All Set For Midfield Addition In January Transfer Window

Arsenal’s Boxing Day victory over Norwich City puts them into pole position to grab the fourth spot. Mikel Arteta will be looking to add much-needed firepower in the January window. There could be several departures for Arsenal in January. The most likely departure of Ainsley Maitland Niles to Roma & Thomas Partey’s absence. These two reasons confirm Arsenal is all set for midfield addition in the January transfer window.

The Portuguese midfielder has a gentleman agreement with Lille which will allow him to leave the club. Renato had a stint to forget in the Premier League with Swansea. Although Renato Sanches has since picked up his form and has delivered for his club & country. The 24-year-old could cost around $30m to Arsenal.

Former Arsenal Midfielder Aaron Ramsey is looking for a way out of Juventus in January. Mikel Arteta has played with Aaron Ramsey and is aware of his strengths. Aaron is a fan favourite at Arsenal having scored crucial cup winning goals.

Another Portuguese midfielder linked with Arsenal in the Summer transfer window. Ruben Neves has been on Mikel’s radar for a long time. Arsenal were put off by Ruben Neves’ price tag in the summer. And Arsenal could potentially return for the midfielder in January.

The Swiss midfielder soon to be a free agent is on the way out of Borussia Monchengladbach. There are plenty of clubs interested in signing him. Zakaria’s Swiss compatriot Granit Xhaka might play a big part in bringing Denis to Arsenal.
