Bernardo Silva breaks silence on whether he is going to Barcelona or PSG, after the UEFA Champions League semi final
Bernardo Silva has given hints that he may be willing to leave Manchester City for Barcelona or PSG this summer. The Portuguese superstar has said that he is focused only on a strong season finale, rather than the upcoming transfer window.
Both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are eager to make a deal for Silva this summer. The Catalan club is reportedly gathering cash for the transfer, while the Ligue 1 club is also seeking to trade Neymar in return for the former Benfica star.
After leading Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semi-final 2nd leg by scoring twice against Real Madrid, Silva told RMC Sport: “My plan is to complete well the season, win the Premier League and then the two finals… then, this summer we will see what happens.”

In 2017, Silva moved from AS Monaco to Manchester City, where he has since been an integral member of the first squad. Bernardo Silva has said that he wants a fresh challenge, although reports have indicated that he is also considering a return to Benfica. Early in the current campaign, he told the Record that he was eager to quit Manchester City.
He said: “I’m 28 years old, I’ll be 29 in the summer, and I have two more years on my Manchester City contract. My contract would end at 31. I won’t hide that my goal in the coming years, if something good happens elsewhere, will probably be to move to a new project.”
Barcelona and PSG are interested in adding Bernardo Silva to their rosters this summer, while Manchester City has their sights set on Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic.
