Real Madrid Opens Up About Possibility Of Signing This Bundesliga Star If Mbappe Doesn’t Arrive

Real Madrid has shown ample desperation to rope in PSG’s Kylian Mbappe this summer. The fans and the management have attributed the blame to the dearth of prolific goal-scorers that has seen Real taking a step back from the advanced breed of football that they play.

Now, given the fact that Mbappe is one of the best footballers in the world at the moment, PSG won’t be making life easy for Real Madrid. They will have to dig deep and burn quite a hole in their pockets to land the French international.

In case if Los Merengues fails to sign Mbappe, they have already started looking at their backup option. That backup option sounds nothing like the same given his screaming form in Germany this year, Erling Braut Haaland.

Real Madrid has reasons to believe in Haaland

According to the reports of ABC Deportes, Madrid has already expressed their interest in Haaland in case if they fail to rope in Mbappe. The report already states that if Mbappe chooses to stay in Paris, Haaland will be approached and he has already been apprised of this interesting improvement.

The report also states that the PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi will be discussing Mbappe’s posterity with the club as his contract is all set to expire in 2022. If the talks get successful then Madrid will be turning an eye towards Dortmund’s star marksman.

However, the preceding reports from ABC state that Mino Raiola and Dortmund want to keep Haaland going strong at Westfalenstadion for at least a season more.

Both the names have been extraordinary in their respective seasons and campaigns. Mbappe has participated in 52 games across the entire season in all formats and has scored 45 goals while stringing 13 assists. Haaland brags about equally impressive statistics that saw him banging 27 netters in Bundesliga alongside the 6 assists that he carved.
