How Manchester United can lineup with Cristiano Ronaldo

After 12 long years, Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Manchester United and is set to make a sensational return. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is expected to sign a two-year deal with United having to pay an initial 20m to Juventus and bonuses up to 3m. Manchester City was looking the most likely destination for Cristiano until Friday morning but after a whirlwind 48 hours that saw Ronaldo and his representative, Jorge Mendes hold talks with Juventus in Turin over a move to Manchester City, City confirmed that they were no longer interested, giving United a free path to sign the megastar.

Later this evening, it emerged that Jorge Mendes had also held talks with Manchester United and then hours later, it was confirmed that a deal had been agreed between the two clubs over Cristiano. He is headed back to the club where he won eight major honors, Ronaldo also won the Ballon d’Or whilst at United, while he left United for Real Madrid in 2008 which also made him the most expensive signing at that time, he is now ready to make an emotional comeback.

Before United confirmed his signing, Juventus coach Allegri confirmed the departure of Cristiano earlier this afternoon in a statement which read “Cristiano told me that he no longer plans to play for Juventus’.

Ole will most likely put out this starting XI provided all players are fit, especially Rashford. Shaw and Wan-Bissaka’s partnership has worked out very well in Ole’s system, while new signing Raphael Varane will be looking to make a strong partnership at the back with captain Harry Maguire. Pogba will be partnered with Fred in the midfield, while Bruno will feed the goals to Cristiano and new boy Jadon Sancho. This Manchester United side is more than capable of giving a very strong and fierce fight to reigning champions and arch-rivals, Manchester City. Scary hours, to say the least.
