Manchester City Transfer News: Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, has been the target of Erling Haland’s efforts to get him to play for Manchester City alongside the striker

Manchester City Transfer News: Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, is said to have persuaded Jude Bellingham to join the player at English champions Manchester City for the next season, as reported by Pete O’Rourke. The midfielder has topped the priority list of a number of teams, and it is possible that the next summer may see a bidding battle for his services.

When the two teams competed against one other in the group stage of the Champions League, Bellingham and Haaland came face to face. Even though Bellingham scored for his side, City came out on top with two late goals and took all three points.

City has a penchant for identifying great players without making a lot of noise about it, and they have determined that Bellingham is the player they should focus on acquiring next.

The 19-year-old midfielder was signed by Dortmund in the year 2020 from Championship side Birmingham City. If Dortmund were to sell the midfielder, they would make an enormous profit from the sale of the player.

A transfer fee in excess of one hundred million British pounds has been mentioned as the player’s valuation; but, according to a report, Dortmund may drop their price if the whole of the transfer cost is paid in one lump sum.

The sum of £83 million should be plenty for City to bring the player back to England; but, other English clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the issue as well.

The top clubs in the English Premier League are prepared to fight with City for his signing because they recognize that his presence would significantly improve the quality of their playing roster.

Pep Guardiola believes that the player is the ideal candidate to succeed Kevin De Bruyne as the club’s primary playmaker now that the Belgian has reached the pinnacle of his career.

Since the futures of Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva have not been resolved as of yet, so a move for Bellingham would be the ideal choice for City at this time. The club from Dortmund has maintained a rather positive connection with its counterpart from Manchester. While the English team welcomed both Haaland and Manuel Akanji to the Etihad Stadium, they parted ways with Sancho and sold him to the German club.

Next summer, Bellingham will be one of the most desirable players, and City would attempt to get a transfer there via his old colleague Erling Haaland.
