REPORTS: Dani Alves Will Continue At FC Barcelona Under One Condition Only
Barcelona News Transfer: Ferran Correas proclaimed that the fate of Barcelona defender Dani Alves can be said to remain irresolute.
Alves is a Brazillian professional footballer. He plays in the right-back position. Dani Alves left São Paulo and joined Barça just recently in November of the previous year. Though, he had to hold back before his second debut, which occurred only in January 2022. He left the club five years ago to join Juventus. After his recent debut for Blaugrana, he had a quality caricature with the members of Barcelona as well as the public.
What’s the story?
Dani Alves even managed to capture the position of right-back, as fancied by Xavier Hernández Creus, the professional football manager of Barça. This decision caused Sergino Dest to be removed from his former position as right-back. Alves surpassed Sergino Dest despite of the latter’s advanced years of experience.
However, Alves’ contract with the club is scheduled to terminate this month. Previously, there was news of consideration of the extension of the 39-year-old protege’s contract with the club. Though, at present, objectives have seemed to change. FC Barcelona has an extended contract with Sergi Roberto. Sergino Dest is also unlikely to withdraw from the club.
FC Barcelona has plans of signing a contract with the Spanish professional footballer, Cesar Azpilicueta. The player is deemed highly by Xavi due to the qualities of leadership, inventiveness and proficiency that he may infuse into the club.
Currently, though, Azpilicueta is playing for the English club Chelsea. He has signed an extension contract of one year with Chelsea. This however complicates circumstances for Barcelona, as now he’s bound to Stamford Bridge till 2023.
Barcelona News Transfer: What is Barcelona planning to do?
While Cesar Azpilicueta is eager to join F.C. Barcelona, the new administration at Chelsea has shown resistance in letting go of the maestro defender. This is the case within Chelsea, and more so after Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger withdrew from the club.
Barça is plotting to engage in an agreement with Chelsea over the issue. Barça is even keen on providing a transfer fee to Chelsea for the resolution of the issue with Azpilicueta.
If the plot isn’t accepted by Chelsea, Alves may expect an extension of his contract. The extension might even be for the short term. The future of Dani Alves within Barcelona is greatly dependent on the arbitration between the two famous clubs.
