Arsenal’s Striker Aubameyang removed from the squad. It’s certain that Aubameyang’s departure is imminent. The Gabon international last featured against Everton. And he played a cameo in which he missed a huge chance which could have equalized the game and would have damaged limitation for the Gunners. Since then, Aubameyang has not played a single minute, not even in the Carabao Cup. From being the club captain and a fan favourite to being the irresponsible and a reserve player, where did it all possibly go wrong for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?

While the situation and the reasons still not very clear, Aubameyang has reportedly been stripped of his captaincy and is being dropped due to the disciplinary violations he committed. Gaffer Mikel Arteta does not give away anything when asked about the Aubameyang situation as well. All this drama will certainly affect the player and manager relationship. And might be the end of Aubameyang’s career at Arsenal already.

With Aubameyang in exile and both Lacazette’s and Eddie Nketiah’s contract coming to an end this summer, there is a need for a striker more than ever. The Gunners will need to plan accordingly, do they sell Lacazette in January or let him go for free in the summer?

one thing is certain Arsenal’s will sign a new striker in January. Realistically, Arsenal are in for a couple of strikers. They have already approached the likes of Vlahovic who is one of the most promising talents in Serie A. Dominic Calvert Lewin and Ivan Toney are also some of the names who have been mentioned.

Aubameyang will be looking to move away this winter until and unless things get sorted between him and the club. It will be interesting to see how things fold as the January transfer window is just around the corner.
