This game saw their former player Gervinho throw in a classic performance that made everyone admire the player he was. The Ivorian scored a brace in that match, where his teammates Lucas Podolski and Theo Walcott both grabbed one at their name.

Unfortunately for Southampton, the two remaining goals were both turned into the Saints’ net by their own players as own goals. Danny Fox scored as a consolation, but little did this matter as they were utterly humiliated by the Gunners.

#4 – Arsenal 6-0 Blackpool (2010)

Another 6 goals galore for the Gunners came in the match where the newly promoted Blackpool had come to grace the Emirates, but it didn’t turn out to be a fun evening for them as they had to fall victims to Theo Walcott who was at the peak of his game netting an astonishing hattrick.

In yet another scintillating performance where the gunners put 7 past their opponents, this time they had also managed to keep a cleansheet.
