Arsenal’s board had a meeting with Leno this week and the goalkeeper revealed that he is ready to leave. The £100k-a-week goalkeeper has been used only four times last season.

Aaron Ramsdale has taken up his place as the first-choice keeper for the Gunners. Bernd Leno was in excellent form in 2019 and 2020. However, Arsenal still decided to go with Ramsdale as he was performing brilliantly for England.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe wants Bernd Leno as he needs to improve his defense. Also, Fulham is trying to explore possibilities to sign him.

Also, Eddie Howe is an excellent manager and could improve immensely. Leno will certainly start for the Magpies as he is still in his prime years. Newcastle could also give him a raise in his wages.

Fulham’s chances of signing him look slim as they have been recently promoted to the league and it would be a risk to join them at this moment.

As things stand, the German goalkeeper would love to win his place in the national team by impressing Newcastle.
