Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has recently commented that he is hopeful Granit Xhaka will return from injury sooner than what was expected. The Gunners have been treated remarkably well on the injury front. as they have had a limited number of injuries this season. Which has hugely helped with their results as Arteta’s men went on a 10 match unbeaten streak. Although it ended last weekend.
The only major injury Arsenal have suffered this season is of the Swiss international, Granit Xhaka. Granit has been out of action for quite some time now. He has been out with a knee ligament injury which he suffered against Tottenham in the North London Derby. Granit got injured while colliding with Lucas Moura in that game. Although Arsenal came out on the top as they secured a 3-1 win.
🗣"Hopefully it will be sooner than expected, he's in a good place."

While the original expected date for Xhaka’s return was mid-January, it seems like things are falling in his way as he aims to return earlier than expected. Ahead of the Newcastle game, Arteta provided a position update on Granit Xhaka. He commented “Hopefully he will be a little bit sooner than expected. He is in a good place, he is evolving well, and hopefully, we can have him a little bit earlier. It is still a bit early to decide.”
