Chelsea were crowned winner of the Club World Cup as they beat Palmeiras in a long 120-minute final. Palmeiras conceded a penalty in the 117th minute, which Kai Havertz converted easily. Antonio Rudiger can now speak to any clubs interested in him. Additionally, clubs like PSG, Real Madrid are already looking to secure his service by making contacts with the player’s agent. As per Athletic, the player is demanding a salary in the region of £215000 – £225000 a week to stay with Chelsea.

Shockingly, as things stand Rudiger is one of the most minimal paid senior players at Chelsea at £90k per week. But, with his new demand, he wished to be paid more or equal to the other first-team players. Firstly, Rudiger is at the peak of his career and he has been consistently doing good with Chelsea under Tuchel. So, to keep him at the club, the offer must be made around his asking contract.
