An Italian publication, FCInterNews, has reported that Liverpool is exploring a surprise approach for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos during the summer transfer window.
Ceballos has been a Real Madrid player since 2017. He joined from fellow La Liga club Real Betis. In his first two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 25-year-old failed to establish himself as a regular in the midfield despite being regarded as one of the most promising talents in the nation at the time of his arrival.

Ceballos left Real Madrid in 2019 to join Arsenal on a season-long loan move after struggling for playing time at the Spanish club. The Spaniard had a successful stay at the Emirates.
