Real Madrid Receive A Transfer Offer For Isco – These Are His Demands
Isco, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has been linked with a move to Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray ahead of the summer transfer window
Galatasaray is reportedly showing interest in making a bid for Real Madrid playmaker Isco during the summer transfer window. Isco’s current contract will expire at the end of the month. Thus, allowing him to become a free agent at that point.
Since his transfer from Malaga to Real Madrid in 2013, Isco has been a member of the Real Madrid squad for over a decade. The offensive midfielder, who was signed as one of the most talented young players in Spain at the time, had a lot of success early on in his career while playing for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. The national team player from Spain, however, has fallen out of favor in recent years. He has had trouble remaining relevant in the grand scheme of things at the club.
Isco received a glimmer of optimism when Carlo Ancelotti became the manager during the summer of 2021. But the Spaniard has not received significant playing time since Ancelotti took over.
The Spanish national team player has only appeared in 17 games across all competitions throughout the 2021/22 campaign. Thus, earning a total of only 407 minutes of game time. And Real Madrid has made the decision not to renew his contract. This means that the Spanish player will be free to sign with another club in the summer.
There has been a lot of interest in Isco’s talents. Several teams, both in and outside of Spain, are eager to sign him via a Bosman deal. Galatasaray Football Club is the most recent team to join the competition.
Will the Turkish Giants become successful in landing Isco?
On June 11, the Turkish giants will hold their presidential elections. One of the candidates, Dursun Ozbek, is aiming to increase his chances of winning by bringing Isco to Istanbul during the summer transfer window. As a result of this, Ozbek’s team has already been in contact with the star player’s agents from Real Madrid to investigate the possibilities of a move to Turkey.
Isco, who currently earns approximately €6.5 million annually at Real Madrid, is rumored to have demanded a three-year contract worth approximately €4 million annually to complete a transfer to Galatasaray once he becomes a free agent. Real Madrid currently pays Isco approximately €6.5 million annually. It remains to be seen whether Ozbek and Galatasaray are prepared to meet such expectations from the playmaker.
Isco is also showing interest in playing for Sevilla. This is where his old manager at Real Madrid and Spain, Julen Lopetegui, is looking for a reunion. A transfer to Sevilla might be in the cards for Isco. As a result, Galatasaray has to move quickly if they want to get the 30-year-old player on a Bosman agreement.
