REPORTS: Real Madrid Has Been Offered A Manchester City Star Player – What’s Next?

Real Madrid News Transfer: According to a rumour from Cadena SER’s Anton Meana (via Managing Madrid), the striker Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City has been offered to the European champions Real Madrid.

Jesus may be moving this summer. The Brazilian player disclosed this information in a recent interview with ESPN (which was obtained by Fabrizio Romano). He stated that his future with the Etihad Stadium is “uncertain.” Romano, a specialist in player transfers, also said that the player, whose current deal with the Citizens expires in June 2023, will not sign an extension of that deal. The free-agent star’s future club isn’t set in stone just yet, even though Arsenal has been widely associated with the player (through Fabrizio Romano) for some time now.

Nevertheless, another aspect of Jesus’ relocation is where the difficulty resides. Because the player, who is 25 years old and does not come from the EU, Los Blancos can not sign him straight away. With Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Eder Miltao already on their roster, Real Madrid has already reached the maximum number of non-EU players that may be on a European club’s roster.

Vinicius, on the other hand, is very close to receiving his Spanish passport, which would make him a citizen of Europe and open up a slot for someone who is not from an EU country. If Jesus were to leave Manchester City for Real Madrid, he would not be able to play for his new club until his countryman obtains his passport.

Real Madrid News Transfer: There is little chance of Gabriel Jesus moving to Real Madrid from Manchester City

Real Madrid should not invest in a first-choice center striker at this time because Karim Benzema is performing at the highest level of his ability. Jesus is another player who is not likely to come to the Santiago Bernabeu since he is aware that he will not be the starting striker for the squad.

Since Jesus didn’t get to play as much as he would have wanted for Pep Guardiola’s squad, it makes sense for him to sign with a club where he will be the unquestioned starter going forward. As of the right moment, Los Merengues is not in a position to provide him with that level of safety.

The possibility exists that Arsenal, who are in dire need of a proven striker, would end up being the perfect destination for the Brazil international player.
