When a big player arrives at a club, what follows in his wake is his sizeable ego and that leads to a thousand clashes even at the drop of a hat. Similarly, when Ronaldo arrived at Manchester United, with the burgeoning hatred for the club from a lot of rival fans, every single move of the Portuguese sensation was put under the radar.
Needless to say, but when United spiralled into an endless vortex of entropy, especially with the Portuguese skipper entering a barren patch after glaring failure from the United midfield, the entire dressing room split apart into two factions. As the flames rise higher with sparks threatening an implosion in the dressing room, Paul Pogba is slowly eyeing suitors away from the English club.
Manchester United means business with Milinkovic-Savic
Paul Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford will come to an end at the end of the season and his agent has made it crystalline that the French midfielder will be parting ways with the club as tensions accentuate.
Now with Pogba’s departure looming on the horizon, Manchester United is desperate to find a suitable replacement. Probably, finding anyone as creative as the French sensation won’t be a walk in the park. However, Rangnick has a definite structure in his mind that professes an ultra-attacking mindset which may not involve someone pretty creative but someone who has an eye for those picture-perfect through balls and is capable of creating the perfect bridge between the defence and the attack.
United has already spotted their man and is supervising his actions from very close range as they hope to onboard Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. He has always been a hard-working midfielder and has played a pivotal role in the heart of Lazio. With the Man United midfield lacking a potential leader that has seen Bruno Fernandes dropping down the pecking order considerably, the Lazio skipper can be a perfect fix.
Milinkovic-Savic is all set to part ways with Lazio as his agreement with erstwhile Chelsea striker and currently his agent, Mateja Kezman dictates. The 42-year-old Chelsea marksman stated, “He is a great club player. Soon the time will come for him to live a new adventure and new dreams.”
Milinkovic-Savic is just one of United’s targets alongside the likes of Boubacar Camara and Amadou Haidara. The Devils also want to snap up Nikola Milenkovic to bolster their faltering defence
