Things started spiraling out of control at the end of the season that saw one of their most successful managers, Zinedine Zidane walking out, taking a sly dig at the club president, Fiorentino Perez. To fill the massive boots of Zizou, they re-appointed their old preceptor, Carlo Ancelotti whose stint with Everton was nothing better than mediocre.

There has also been some severe unrest in the middle of the club with the captain, Sergio Ramos and his central defensive partner, Raphael Varane all set to take an exit from the hallowed Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish defensive icon didn’t extend his contract at Real Madrid and will most likely be taking an exit.

The Sergio Ramos explosion

However, Ramos has set a chain of explosive events that may lead to an ominous dominoes effect in the club with the first and foremost bomb being a message to other players that they must not be willing to accept pay cuts.

According to Jose Ramon de la Morena, director and presenter of the radio program, El Transistor, Ramos has urged other players not to accept a pay cut because the amount saved will be headed to the purchase of Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid has been requesting their players to take a pay cut as their financial conditions have been dampened by the enraging Covid 19 pandemic.

However, Ramos believes that this is just hogwash as they will be eyeing to splurge a record-breaking transfer fee for Kylian Mbappe and the funds are supposed to come from this move.

Though this is a very tricky situation, yet it is believed that Karim Benzema may play an extremely industrious role in luring his national compatriot to head to Santiago Bernabeu to join forces. Both of them will collaborate for France in the imminent Euro Cup. World champions, France, are being deemed as one of the heaviest title contenders for the much-awaited Euro 2021.
