In the midst of eight departures till the end of the season, Manchester United had to let go of Donny van de Beek to Everton because the exciting midfielder from Ajax could hardly get any game time at Old Trafford. Even albeit the move was on loan, the Dutch international will finally be getting quality game time at Goodison Park that always eluded him at the Theatre of Dreams under both the coaches that he has been with namely Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
VDB managed to bag 19 appearances in his chequered span of 17 months at Old Trafford. Following a showpiece arrival in 2020, where he was endorsed by United legends, Van der Sar himself, somehow Solskjaer believed that Donny wasn’t exactly the fit that would have aided United’s cause.

Rangnick concluded by saying, “I was in contact with him and wish him all the best for the next months at Everton.” Manchester United will be battling Middlesbrough in a fourth-round clash of the FA Cup.
