He has a similar story to Pedri and that is why Barcelona is planning to sign him for a cheaper price. They could then plan to loan him out for a year and bring him in to train with the first team.

Alberto Moleiro has made 38 appearances for Las Palmas this season. He clocked 2112 minutes this season and provided three goals as well.

The 18-year-old attacker has a different playing style as compared to Pedri. He plays in a more advanced role as a winger or an attacking midfielder.

He is electric with raw pace, very versatile and he loves to dribble. Moleiro shifts his gears well as he can play confidently with both of his feet. He needs to work on his final ball but that could be learned well under Xavi.

Barcelona did sign Pedri for a cheaper price way back in 2019. They got him for just £5m, but that could not be the case again. Las Palmas will ask for a much higher price for Alberto Moleiro since he is a regular player for the club.

Barcelona News Transfer: How will Barcelona sign the player?

Barcelona is currently going through a financial crisis. This means that they will relish the opportunity to sign players for a lesser price. Considering, that they are already in talks to let Frenkie de Jong leave for Manchester United, they could get enough funds.

Currently, Barcelona manager Xavi doesn’t want to keep a hold on Adama Traore. He would love to work with a young, hungry winger in Alberto Moleiro. Loaning him out for one year could be an excellent idea and that could also give Moleiro a chance to work on himself.

Also, there are reports that Barcelona is looking for a new striker. Bayern Munich free agent Robert Lewandowski could join them for free this summer.
