Despite possessing one of the most incisive attacking forces of the world that features the illustrious likes of Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United has failed to conjure staggering feats that would see the Devils kiss the pinnacle.
One of the major problems in the Devils outfit has been the lack of their supply from their midfield. Fernandes has been on a decline in the ongoing season while Fred and McTominay have just served as expletives instead of the reckoning force that they are supposed to be.
Manchester United is hellbent to land these illustrious stars
The German professor of gegenpressing, Ralf Rangnick has been eyeing a bevy of transfers as the summer window lurks on the near horizon. One of the major targets that have been producing one of the largest blips on the United radar is West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice.
With quite a few important contracts coming to an end at the end of the summer that includes the all-important duo of Cavani and Pogba, Rangnick has already had a word with former United nemesis who was rattled at the hands of Roy Keane, Alf-Inge Haaland, to consider the possibility of roping in the signature of Erling Haaland.
Major discussions are ongoing to bring in defensive reinforcements to plug the colossal void that has been cracked wide open with Harry Maguire weirdly switching off while Varane has been going on and off, plagued by injuries. There are talks of Serbian international, Nikola Milenkovic coming in to play the perfect partner to the French man.
Another important void that Manchester United would find at the end of the season is under the woodwork. With talks of Henderson leaving in the summer gathering fuel with every passing day, Lee Grant will also be a free agent at the end of the season that will open up a spot for the second goalkeeper. With so many transfers lined up, if there is something promising that lurks around the corner for United is the change of hands in the chief executive personnel.
With Richard Arnold coming in, it is believed that he will have the footballing tasks reduced as it will incline more towards John Murtough, United’s football director, Darren Fletcher, United’s technical director while Rangnick’s role will change to that of a consultant.
