3 Must-have Arsenal players in your FPL team

After having a rough start to the season, the Gunners now face Norwich City up next at the Emirates and will be looking to get their first win of the season. In FPL terms, Arsenal assets are below average as of now with no clean sheets and no goals scored as well. While Arsenal’s initial matches were tough in Manchester City and Chelsea, they have a good run of fixtures coming up and will be looking to grab a few points, with many important players back in the squad as well. We look at the 3 must-have Arsenal players in your FPL team.

#3 Ben White

Priced at just 4.4m in the game, Ben White could prove to be a bargain given the run of fixtures Arsenal have. Even though the Gunners have conceded the second-most goals in the league, they will be looking to keep at least 2-3 clean sheets in the upcoming games. Ben White was Arsenal’s marquee signing this transfer window as they paid a huge amount for him, he was brought to the club as a replacement to David Luiz.

It is still too early in the season to judge White as he has started just one game for the Gunners, missing the other two due to Covid. Getting Ben White in your team also gives you the flexibility to spend on forwards and midfielders.

#2 Bukayo Saka

Arsenal’s starboy Bukayo Saka is also set to come back into the team after missing the first game against Brentford and will be looking to make an instant impact. Although a winger, Saka is listed as a midfielder in the game and thus will get more points when he scores or assists in comparison to a forward, he will also get an additional point if the team keeps a clean sheet.

Saka was subbed off at halt-time versus Manchester City, gaffer Mikel Arteta reportedly did so to bring on Mohamed Elneny as a substitute for Xhaka who was sent off. At 6.3m, Bukayo can be the perfect budget midfielder you are looking for in the team.

#1 Kieran Tierney

Undoubtedly Arsenal’s best player in the opening three games is Kieran Tierney. Last season, Tierney was among the top 5 highest scoring defenders in FPL as he was the Gunner’s top-performing defender as well. Kieran assisted four times while scoring once and kept eight clean sheets last season and will be looking to replicate the same in the upcoming fixtures as well.

Mikel Arteta’s side faces Norwich City and Burnley in the next two fixtures with Arsenal having a 50%+ probability of keeping a clean sheet in both games, Tierney could be the perfect full-back for your FPL team. At 4.9m and ownership of just 5.4%, he could also prove to be a great differential as he tops this list of 3 must-have Arsenal players in your FPL team.
