Reports say that Youri Tielemans is showing interest in joining Real Madrid. This comes as a blow to his other suitors, who include Barcelona and Manchester City, among others.
According to a report by the French website Foot Mercato, Youri Tielemans hopes to join Real Madrid after leaving Leicester City in the summer of 2022. His other suitors, notably Barcelona and Manchester City, have suffered a severe setback as a result of the development.
Since joining Leicester City from AS Monaco, Youri Tielemans has established himself as one of the top playmakers in the Premier League. He had a successful loan spell with the Foxes in January 2019. Then the Belgian international completed his permanent switch to the Premier League with the club.
To date, the 24-year-old has made 141 appearances for Leicester City. He has contributed 24 goals and 22 assists to the team’s overall success. Tielemans, on the other hand, may leave the King Power Stadium during the summer transfer window in search of a fresh challenge. Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City have all shown interest in such a circumstance.
The fact that Real Madrid is interested arises from the many uncertainties surrounding the futures of Dani Ceballos and Isco.
