Several European teams have shown interest in the 23-year-old Spanish defender after seeing his impressive play this season. Even in the UEFA Champions League, he has been a revelation. Porro’s contract has a release clause of €45 million, and Sporting CP will only approve his transfer this month if his pursuers are ready to pay that amount.

It has been speculated that Tottenham has a strong interest in acquiring the 23-year-old. It’s a given that the Spaniard is superior to both Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty. Antonio Conte is on the hunt for a top-notch offensive fullback who can contribute to offence and defence. It seems like Porro is a great match for the Italian’s play style. However, Chelsea is now very interested in signing him.
