Real Madrid has taken a decision regarding the €29,615-PER-WEEK Napoli Star- Are they buying him?

Real Madrid, the La Liga winners, are no longer interested in acquiring Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli, the leaders of Serie A, this summer

Defensa Central of Spain claims that Real Madrid is no longer interested in signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The current La Liga winners have abandoned their pursuit of the Napoli forward, who is just 21 years old.

Before becoming a prominent figure at Rubin Kazan, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia spent his formative years in both his own country and Russia. Unfortunately, his time at the Ak Bars Arena was cut short due to the crisis between Ukraine and Russia. And in the summer transfer window, the Georgian international joined Napoli of Serie A.

The 21-year-old has had a spectacular first half of the season, contributing to eight goals and 10 assists in 17 games played. Kvaratskhelia’s achievements on the international scene, especially in the UEFA Nations League, have been nothing short of spectacular. And Real Madrid has taken notice of the player’s development.

In the next year, Real Madrid will finish making the upgrade to their current generation of players. Furthermore, Carlo Ancelotti plans to retool his team to make a seamless transition. Therefore, the current La Liga winners are looking to strengthen their midfield and attack in the next transfer windows.

Finding a player to replace Karim Benzema is a top objective for the attack. Since Real Madrid has agreed to sign Endrick in July 2024, the attacking position is already filled. A decade from now, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes will be the only options to play on the wings for the offensive team. Kvaratskhelia had been on Real Madrid’s radar, but the timing wasn’t right for a transfer.

The current La Liga winners have cancelled their transfer for the Napoli forward, who is just 21 years old. However, despite frequent speculations associating Victor Osimhen with a probable exit, the Serie A giants are unlikely to sell Kvaratskhelia this summer.

Napoli is now again among the league’s elite, so trading away two of its best scorers would be a mistake. So it seems likely that the Georgian national team player will be staying on at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium through the summer. However, Real Madrid is more likely to add to the midfield than the attack.
