What did Toni Kroos say about his future at Real Madrid?

Kroos’ recent contract at the club is due to expire in June 2023, but the German is determined to earn another contract extension which would eventually be his last spell in his career. In a recent conversation with  Sky Sport Deutschland, Kroos revealed that he deliberately chose the contract period when he last extended his contract. This was because he would be 33 by then and he feels that it would be a good age to think about his future at Real Madrid.

Talking about his fitness, Kroos revealed that he still feels fully fit and can compete at the highest level for a few more years. He further commented about his relationship with the club and that there are no worries regarding the contract situation.

While there were speculations regarding his future at the club and Liverpool being interested in the German, Kroos has now put all rumors aside after he expressed his desire to finish his career at Real Madrid.
