This Gesture From Thomas Tuchel Will Leave You Speechless

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea seem to be a perfect match at the moment. Under him, Chelsea secured the top 4 spot last season, reached the FA Cup final and also won the UEFA Champions League. They began this season by lifting the UEFA Super Cup and later won the much-coveted FIFA Club World Cup.

Their run in the cup competitions this season has been near perfect, with the team reaching the final of the Carabao Cup and already in the UCL quarter-finals and FA Cup semi-finals. With the title slipping away, Tuchel would love to push Chelsea further in the cup competitions and they did so a few days back by beating Middlesbrough FC by two goals to nil in the away quarter-final tie of FA Cup. What looked like a tricky tie for Chelsea considering their recent circumstances and Middleborough’s cup form this season was won quite comfortably by the Blues in the end.

Thomas Tuchel never fails to amaze football lovers

As soon as the final whistle was blown by the referee, the away fans started to cheer up their beloved German manager. Tuchel is well respected and loved amongst the supporters and he also did not shy away from showing his love after the match. He gave his hat away to a young Chelsea fan wearing the club shirt before entering the tunnel.

This is not the first time when his gesture has won the hearts of football fans. Even in these difficult times, his way of handling the team and the media impressed various football experts and fans – one such example was observed when the former Chelsea player Joe Cole demanded Tuchel to become England’s Prime Minister.

The season is not over yet and Chelsea can still achieve a lot. After the international break, they will have to play 10 Premier League games, UCL quarter-final against Real Madrid and FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace – all in the span of about two months. The fixture congestion will only increase if the Blues win their cup ties and proceed to the next rounds.

The goal at a club like Chelsea is to win trophies every single season and under Tuchel’s leadership, they have already won three and have reached five different cup finals. He is the right man to guide the team and lead them to glory. The only thing to see is how far they can go this season.
