Ronaldo Leaves A Sharp Message For Manchester United Players At The End Of Liverpool Defeat

Manchester United was left reeling after a woeful display at Old Trafford as they were humiliated by Liverpool in a completely lopsided encounter. Right since the word go, Liverpool was on the transcendence and until that final whistle, they continued the torment of the Red Devils and their leader, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mohammad Salah hammered home a very special hattrick to shun the hopes of Manchester United and Ole and the other players could do very little to thwart the Liverpool domination and it is shocking, to say the least.

The non-existent United defence

The United defence seemed to come apart at the seams while the Liverpool attackers came invading. Maguire’s woeful displays continued while Lindelof was only good at facepalming himself after Liverpool wrung out sadistic pleasure from the fiver that they put past a hapless Manchester.

Keeping aside all the humiliation, protests and whatnot, that environed the Devils, Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo was definitely not happy about what was unfolding around him. However, being the leader he was, he had a few words for his disjointed team members.

This is what Ronaldo had to say to the Manchester United players

Ronaldo posted on Instagram, citing, “Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame. Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support. They deserve better than this, much better, and it’s up to us to deliver. The time is now!”

Honestly speaking, these words sound better when the team loses an encounter that went down until the very wire. However, Manchester was literally swept aside on a pool of humiliation that reminisced the United fans about their dark bygones where Manchester City smashed 6 past them.

Maguire has been left living like a shadow in the last five games and the absence of Varane has created a glaring gap in the rearguard that no one else has been able to fill in.
