Sevilla Interested To Sign Alexandre Lacazette For Free

The Spanish publication Fichajes has reported that Sevilla has become the latest team to be linked with a bid for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette. Because of the uncertainty surrounding his contract, the Arsenal star has attracted a lot of interest on the transfer market. His current contract with the Emirates expires at the conclusion of the season, and he is being pursued by a number of other teams.

Sevilla are mainly interested in signing Lacazette owing to the possibility of him being a free agent after the current season. It is clear that Monchi has no intention of paying a huge quantity of money for a single player. They are also prepared for the possibility of being without star striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who has been linked with a transfer to Premier League rivals West Ham.

How has Alexandre Lacazette become such a high-value target?

Lacazette has emerged as a player that FC Barcelona is seriously considering signing. Arsenal have allegedly set a €10 million price tag on the youngster, which looks to be in line with the desire of the club’s newly hired head coach Xavi Hernandez to sign him during the January transfer window.

After a sluggish start to the season, the former Olympique Lyon striker has established himself as a key member of Arsenal’s attacking unit. Mikel Arteta has deployed him well in a withdrawn position alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, giving the team’s attacking unit a great deal of adaptability.

Lacazette, on the other hand, has failed to make an impression on the Arsenal hierarchy that will allow him to continue in the squad in the future. He has suffered with a lack of playing time this season, and it is possible that he may be released when his contract expires at the conclusion of the season.

As a result, Sevilla are on high alert, with sporting director Monchi eager to bolster the club’s final third with new signings and acquisitions. Because of his extensive experience at the top level of football, Alexandre Lacazette may be an excellent choice. In addition, he brings a high level of work rate and intensity to the final third, and the striker has the ability to be deadly in front of goal.

Although Arsenal would almost definitely seek for a January move of the Frenchman given his present contract position, the Gunners will also earn a minor compensation for the deal. In contrast, Barcelona and Sevilla may decide to remain patient in their pursuit of the brilliant striker, whose possible position as a free agent would make him one of the most tempting choices available in the market next summer.
