Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United veteran, has stated his opinion that Harry Maguire, in order to maintain his spot on the England national team, must leave the club this summer. Clearly, not a priority for new Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag, England international Maguire has seen his stock plummet at Old Trafford this season.
According to Ferdinand, Maguire needs a fresh start at a new club. He and his colleagues at Vibe with Five have suggested places like Aston Villa and West Ham as good options.
Maguire showed signs of being a star player for Leicester City. However, he’s struggled to find his footing with United. It would benefit everyone involved if he were to be traded this summer. The 30-year-old may still have a few productive years in the Premier League ahead of him, but not with a team of this magnitude.
Maguire has had a successful career with England. However, he needs to make a transfer immediately if he wants to continue his bright international career.
