Real Madrid News: Eden Hazard’s career at Real Madrid has not been fruitful in the past three years. He joined Los Blancos for £150m in 2019 after impressive goal-scoring spells at Chelsea.

The Belgian winger scored 85 goals for the Blues and helped them win some major titles under Jose Mourinho’s reign. But he was unable to replicate the same form at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Florentino Perez called him a galactic signing but his form doesn’t describe the same. Injury issues have been a recent setback for the Belgian. Even last season, he played only 802 minutes for Madrid in all competitions.

He didn’t have any role to play in the Champions League finals as he was benched. Teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are interested in signing the Belgian but they are not serious about a deal.

Thomas Tuchel is not concerned about Hazard as he has other targets to look out for. Also, the winger has been a regular for the Belgian National Team under Roberto Martinez.

He has been playing regularly in the Nations League matches for Belgium playing a key role in their recent victories.

Roberto Otera (Vice President of Belgium’s Real Madrid Supporter Club) said: “Real Madrid is Eden Hazard’s dream and he wants to continue making it a reality. He told us that he fit and no longer feels any pain and that this year will be his year.”

Eden Hazard has been going through a rough phase at Madrid but he is determined to overturn his fortunes. Maybe he has been working very hard to get over his fitness issues.  His performances for Belgium recently were looking promising.
