Real Madrid Is Set To Submit An Offer For A Young Spanish Goalkeeper

Ferran Quetglas, a 16-year-old Spanish goalkeeping prodigy, is allegedly on the verge of signing a contract with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s interest in Ferran Quetglas, according to a report by the Spanish publication Defensa Central, might result in a potential transfer during the summer transfer window. The 16-year-old goalkeeping prodigy from RCD Mallorca is on the brink of signing a contract with Real Madrid.

The Spanish goalkeeper, Ferran Quetglas, is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Europe. He has progressed from strength to strength in recent years in youth football in his own country. Every aspect of the teenager’s game resembles that of a modern-day goalkeeper. He is at ease with the ball at his feet while also being a superb shot-stopper.

While the 16-year-old mostly represents Mallorca’s under-19 team, he has also received a call up to the first team’s matchday squad this season, appearing on the bench during the club’s La Liga match against Levante earlier this year. The growth of the Spanish goalkeeping prodigy has not gone unnoticed. Real Madrid is expressing an interest in signing him.

A hallmark of the Merengues’ recruitment strategy is their forays into Spanish and foreign markets in pursuit of the most promising young players to enhance their youth system. And Florentino Perez’s philosophy of integrating the most promising young players into the first-team squad has resulted in the acquisition of current Real Madrid stars such as Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes.

Will Los Blancos bid for him?

Many young talents from outside Spain have had connections to Real Madrid. Endrick is being tipped as the next big thing for the club’s top division squad. A report from the Spanish press claims that the Spanish giants are in negotiations with Palmeiras about signing the Brazilian wonderkid. While many other players in the country are also on their radar.

Marcos Garcia Montolio has just finalised his transfer to Real Madrid. And it seems like Ferran Quetglas, a 16-year-old whizkid from Mallorca, will be the next prodigy to join Real Madrid. Los Blancos has already submitted an offer to the Spanish club for the youngster’s services.

Although the offer has not yet been accepted, Mallorca may be ready to let Quetglas go soon. The Spanish goalkeeping prospect may join one of Real Madrid’s Juvenil teams. It seems as if Ferran Quetglas will be the next kid prodigy to sign with Real Madrid.
