Ben White and Gabriel will have to be at their level best after coming from the international break. While Gabriel’s fantastic form was rewarded with international recognition, Ben White missed out as he did not make the cut this time.

Rock solid at the back and fierce while going forward, Takehiro Tomiyasu has been brilliant for Arsenal so far and is proving to be worth every penny. The Japanese right-back will provide the defensive and offensive assurance the Gunners need against the Liverpool attack.

Midfield – Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey, Sambi Lokonga, Emile Smith-Rowe

Bukayo Saka had another remarkable outing in the English colours as he found the back of the net against San Marino in the international break. The young sensation has always been a threat going forward. He will be looking to pierce through the Liverpool defence on Saturday.

Thomas Partey‘s presence in Arteta’s midfield is tremendously vital but will be ‘assessed’ after he missed the last match against Watford. Thomas failed to play a part in Ghana’s World Cup qualifying matches as well. The 28 year-old will be hoping to start the crucial game against Liverpool alongside midfield partner, Sambi Lokonga.

Coming fresh off his debut for the country, Emile Smith Rowe has arguably been Arsenal’s best player this season. A goal and an assist for England on his debut will give him loads of confidence. Emile Smith-Rowe will be Arteta’s key man if the Gunners are to win this game.

Forwards- Alexandre Lacazette, Aubameyang

Arsenal’s joint top goalscorer this season and captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be eyeing another goal as he puts on his scoring boots.
