Real Madrid, which is one of the best teams in La Liga, has signed 16-year-old Spanish star Erik Vazquez from Girona

Erik Vazquez grew up in Girona and is currently one of the most promising young wingers in Spain. In Spain, the “wonderkid” has been on a roll in youth football for the last few years, drawing scouts to watch him play for different youth teams at Girona.

Vazquez is a versatile attacker who can play on either wing. He is also very good for a player who plays the same role on both wings. In the just-ended season, the 16-year-old showed that he could play for a team that was older than him. He played for Girona’s Juvenil B and Juvenil A teams, which are the under-19 teams. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise that Real Madrid tried to sign him this summer.

The Spanish giants are known for stealing the best young attackers from La Fabrica and Real Madrid Castilla. In the last five years, Florentino Perez has been careful to add to the club’s Spanish core. Because of this, Real Madrid’s first-team stars Marco Asensio, Dani Ceballos, and Dani Ceballos are all Spanish.

What’s next for Los Blancos?

The Merengues have also been active in adding to the Spanish youth teams. Most recently, they beat Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United to sign Noel Lopez. Erik Vazquez is the latest Spanish star to join Real Madrid.

Vazquez will play for Real Madrid’s Juvenil C team, even though he was already playing at the under-19 level for Girona last season. But the big teams in Spain are confident that the 16-year-old will improve quickly and that he will soon be playing for the Juvenil A team.

Erik Vazquez is expected to play for Real Madrid Castilla soon, so it won’t be a surprise if he moves up quickly to the reserve team. It will be interesting to see if the Spanish “wonderkid” keeps improving quickly after he moved from Girona to Real Madrid.
