“It’s final after final after final that we play”, Jurgen Klopp Makes His Intentions Clear Ahead Of Mad Title Race

Liverpool is currently four points adrift of Manchester City in a cutthroat title race where despite the Manchester club taking an early lead started leaking too many points against opponents far less superior to them. Seeing City flinch even though very spasmodically, Jurgen Klopp has already got his hopes high.

Jurgen Klopp’s happiness knew no bounds as City dropped points against Crystal Palace on Monday, pruning down the arrears at the top of the table. The two untenable stalwarts of the league will lock horns with each other on April 10th which can very well seal the fate of the league.

Jurgen Klopp has his priorities sorted for Liverpool

Liverpool will have an added advantage given the fact that they still have a game in their hand and a win for them will cut down the gap at the top of the table to a solitary point before the two teams head into a slugfest that can even devolve into a gutter war, given the ferocious temper of both the coaches.

The heavy metal-loving Jurgen Klopp opened up about his chemistry with Guardiola and his wards. The Liverpool boss was heard quoting, “That’s the plan [to push City]. The plan is to be as annoying as possible. We have to win our games.”

He further added, “It’s final after final after final that we play. We’re not ten points ahead with 10 to go. It’s in front of us – attack it, chase it, go for it. It’s the only chance we have.”

Despite a rare slide in the middle where Salah’s shooting boots went missing for a game or two, the Reds seemed losing control of the title race. But they made up for lost time, thanks to Manchester City’s intermittent explosions of mediocrity against unexpected oppositions with Crystal Palace being the latest addition to the list.

Liverpool has forged a winning streak of eight matches now and much to the joy of Mikel Arteta, Arsenal has also bagged five wins on the trot.

Klopp also made it clear that it won’t be wise of him if Liverpool starts pinning hopes on the fact that a red-hot Gunners can silence the Cityzen’s blazing guns.

However, Mikel Arteta had a few words of his own, citing, “Being able to beat the most in-form team in the country would be really, really big so that’s the aim tomorrow.”
He concluded by saying, “We haven’t done anything. What we are doing is try to improve, understand better what we want, being much more consistent in performance and results, but nothing else as yet.”
