Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he is aware of all the criticism of the coaching staff as well as the players of Manchester United in recent times, but it doesn’t really bother him as he has played almost two decades of professional football at the top level, and he knows the ups and downs that a football team and a football player goes through.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solkjaer had come for massive criticism after the Red Devils lost to the arch-rivals Liverpool at home by a margin of 5 goals in their last Premier League game, and it was not just the margin of defeat, but the difference in the level of skills of two teams which was embarrassing for United fans.

But, Ole managed to stay in the job for the game against Tottenham Hotspur, and he managed to trigger a reaction from the United players as a spirited performance saw the Red Devils bounce back with a 3-0 victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who was one of the goalscorers for United in the game against Spurs, talked to the broadcasters after the game and when he was asked if he was bothered about the criticism of the manager, he said not just the manager, but the entire unit was getting criticized because the club is just so big. But, what was important was a reaction after the defeat and to change the level of performance, and that’s what the team did.

“I have played for 18 years and I know one day it’s perfect and the other day we are crap. I know that, and we have to deal with that, but we needed to change, and we did,” Cristiano said in the post-match interview.
