‘He is the one shining example of a player who has got everything’-Michael Owen singles out the Liverpool player who is crucial for the Anfield side

Michael Owen, a former striker in the Premier League, has heaped praise on Fabinho, a current midfielder for Liverpool, for the skill he displays on the field. Owen picked out the Brazilian international player among all of the other midfielders on the Reds’ team.

What did Michael Owen say?

Owen said (via HITC): “He is the one shining example of a player who has got everything. He’s the right age, he’s the right quality, and he’s always fit and healthy. You look down the list of other players. Naby Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain, injury prone maybe, Milner and Henderson are getting on, and then you have Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott who are younger players. He is the right one.”

The Englishman emphasized how important it is for Fabinho to quickly return to his previous level of play, stating that Jurgen Klopp’s team has had difficulty finding consistency so far this season.

He continued: “He has to get back to form otherwise that becomes a very weak area of the team.”

On October 9, Liverpool’s starting lineup for their Premier League match against Arsenal did not include Fabinho. After Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka caused a ruckus at the Emirates Stadium, the Reds were defeated by a score of 3-2.

Martinelli scored the opening goal of the game for the Gunners in the first minute, and then Saka scored again to seal the win for the Gunners and give them all three points.

Fabinho has appeared for Liverpool in 182 games in all competitions, during which time he has racked up 11 goals and eight assists. The Brazilian’s contributions have been vital to Klopp’s success on both the domestic and European fronts.

The aging players in the Reds’ midfield were one of the concerns that the former Liverpool striker identified as a problem with the current team’s roster for the Reds.
