WATCH: Bukayo Saka Scored An Identical Goal To Lionel Messi

Bukayo Saka scored a goal against Watford that resembles Messi’s UCL goal for PSG against Manchester City this season

Among the most promising young players, the Premier League has seen in a long time is Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka. The 20-year-old scored his ninth goal of the season. Arsenal earned a crucial three points against Watford with a 3-2 victory.

In truth, Mikel Arteta’s team had yet another successful weekend under his guidance. Besides their victory against Watford, they also witnessed the defeat of top-four opponents West Ham United, Wolves, and Manchester United.

It’s a weekend that sees them move up to fourth in the table. They are ahead of both Manchester United and West Ham despite having three games in hand on each of them. They’re six points ahead of Tottenham despite having played the same number of games as the latter. Meanwhile, despite having played two fewer games than Wolves, they are eight points ahead of them.

This means they are now heavy favourites to finish in the top four and earn a spot in next season’s European Champions League tournament. Saka was the standout performer once again in the triumph over Watford.

Bukayo Saka scored a wonder goal

With the ball in his feet, Saka raced into the Watford defence. He played a one-two with Alexandre Lacazette. Then he curled a fantastic attempt into the top corner of the net. It was a fantastic goal. You may have seen the goal being scored previously. That’s because you’ve most likely done so.

Earlier this season, the best player to ever play the game scored this. We are, of course, referring to Lionel Messi.

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Manchester City 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Lionel Messi scored his first goal for the club. It would have been almost similar if Saka had been replaced by Messi and Lacazette by Kylian Mbappe.

Indeed, someone has developed an excellent video in which he combined the two strikes  to demonstrate how similar they were in reality. The video, which has the tagline “Give whoever made this an Oscar,” is becoming popular on Twitter.

Take a look at this:

Saka has shown incredible fortitude and will to recover from a summer in which he missed a penalty in the shootout of the Euro 2020 final against Italy.

Moreover, Arteta feels that the painful disappointment and frightening abuse he endured have turned out to be a gift in disguise for him.

“I believe Bukayo had an experience in the summer that not many players would ever have. I believe it was beneficial to his career because the football world demonstrated how much they liked and appreciated him,” Arteta said of the Brazilian.
